Endovenous Laser Therapy
VenaCure EVLT is a 45-minute, in-office procedure that requires only a local anesthetic and enables patients to return to normal activity immediately – with little or no pain.
This is similar to EVLT, but instead of using laser energy, RF ablation uses heat from radio waves to close off the diseased vein. There are some subtle differences, which is why Dr. DiMarco performs both.
ClariVein® is a specialty catheter for the infusion of physician-specified fluids. Used for multiple applications, the ClariVein® system includes a 360 degree rotating tip allowing for the well-dispersed coverage of the vessel. Use of the ClariVein® does NOT require painful anesthesia and will not cause thermal agitation.
In some procedures, studies show that patients reported up to 74% less pain and rapid return to normal activities when using ClariVein®.
